More Halloween Decorations

The boys are determined to have the spookiest house and love turning everything into ghosts, pumpkins, or bats.  We have been doing a ton of projects.
On Monday night for Family Home Evening we made ghosts out of milk jugs.  Cameron loves to color on the milk jugs to make a masterpiece.  He is way into making masterpieces, the other day he was playing with yogurt on the table at breakfast and when I went to wipe it up, he told me not to destroy his masterpiece.  So funny, I didn't even mind the mess.
The boys are always turning these milk jugs on to glow at the house.
Grandma Susan helped Hunter make this scary ghost.
So when Cameron woke up from his nap we made a ghostmaking factory.  Hunter was in charge of cutting out the faces and Cameron glued them all together.  They are both getting so old and are able to do so much on their own.  I love watching their personalities develop.
Then we decided to try some smush painting.  You swirl paint on paper and then cover it with plastic wrap and smush it all around.
The boys were excited to get started.
Hunter was a little tentative about smushing.
Cameron was ready to dive right in.
Hunter really liked watching the colors mix.
Cameron just liked making a mess.
Then I made a print of their pumpkins and let them use a cotton swab to make a face or pattern.  Hunter loved his jack o lantern.
Cameron just liked making a fun design.

The boys want to make more pumpkins and have a pumpkin patch on our back door.
Next we decided to make bats.

I think Hunter liked becoming the official photographer more than painting even.
We decided the bats turned out a lot like spiders so Hunter calls them our bat spiders.
We also decided to get our feet in on the action and turned these cute toesies
 into ghosts.
The boys were so good while we did our projects and love putting them up all over the house.
