Temple Lights

On the last night of our trip we headed down to Salt Lake to see the temple lights.

The lights were beautiful as always and it was so fun to continue the tradition of seeing the temple lights with David and Shannon.

We of course had to stop for dinner.  It was such a fun trip and the boys loved seeing all of their family.  On the drive home we couldn't tell them that we were driving home because every time that we did they would just cry to go back to their cousins' house.  They are already asking when we are going to go back to Utah.

Antelope Island

On Saturday we went to Antelope Island.  It was really neat to be able to go to all of these places in Utah that we had never been to even though we had lived there for years.  Antelope Island was great.

 

The boys were very excited to see bison.

 

We drove out to the ranch and it was beautiful. 

The kids loved exploring all around the ranch.

And exploring the inside of the ranch too.

 

 The weather was amazing while we were there and we loved being outside to enjoy it.

Ensign Peak

 I think we forgot to take any pictures on Thanksgiving, we were all to busy cooking but it was super yummy and delicious.  It was an epic feast and was followed up by an amazing pie night the next day.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

We decided to hike Ensign Peak the next day with the kiddos.

They were all good sports and the all walked most of the way themselves.

I discovered why my kids can't breath in Utah.  The inversion was disgusting and Cameron was raspy by the end of the trip.  I definitely did not miss the inversion living in Arizona.

It was a great hike too bad the view was obstructed by the yucky air.

Capitol

 Since we were so close to the Capitol after hiking Ensign Peak, we decided to go explore.

The capitol was beautiful and had a lot of fun things to see.

It was a fun place to explore and was really empty with it being a holiday.

Kangaroo Zoo

 Hunter was so excited to see his cousin Kyle.  These two are best buds and were so happy to see each other.

We also were able to go to one of our favorite places, Kangaroo zoo, while we were in Utah.  The boys had a great time jumping and playing.

These two were so fun to play with and were bouncing like crazy.

Dinner with Kelsey

While we were in Utah we were also able to meet up with Cameron's birth family.  We had such a great time seeing Kelsey, Cameron's birth mom, and all of her family for dinner.  They are so kind and friendly and Cameron loved playing with  everyone.

One of his favorite people was Jayden, Kelsey's little boy.  He wanted to hug and love Jayden all day.

We loved catching up and spending time with all of the family.

Utah Trip

 Ever since we moved to Arizona, Hunter has been asking when we were going to go back to Utah to   see his cousins and friends.  We thought it would be fun to go up to Utah and have Thanksgiving up with my brother and his family.  We were able to head up the weekend before Thanksgiving for a lot of fun.

 

The boys were so excited to see all of their cousins.  While they were waiting to pick up Megan and Molly from school they were able to pet and feed these horses.  The boys have really missed having horses over our back fence and loved feeding these horses.

Then the boys were able to see Megan and Molly and were in heaven.

The boys absolutely love Megan and Molly, in fact, now Cameron loves any little girl he meets that are around their age.  We headed to BYU with the girls to have some fun.

Our first stop was the BYU art museum. 

The kids loved climbing and looking at all of the art.

Then we headed over to the BYU bookstore.

My little bookworms were in heaven having daddy and their cousins read them book after book.  The boys would have Megan and Molly read them books every night and morning.

After the bookstore we decided to go bowling.

The boys did pretty good bowling.

They loved cheering for their cousins.

We were also able to go to the BYU paleontology museum while we waited for the girls to come home from school.

Cameron couldn't believe how big his mouth was.

 We also were able to meet up with a lot of our Utah County friends and eat at our favorite restaurants.  Cameron has really missed eating J-Dawgs and loved going out with just him and daddy.
