Zoo Day with the Cousins

These kiddos love playing together.

 Brody brought cookies to share.

 We have been reading a ton of cowboy books lately and these boys love pretending to be cowboys. 

Of course we needed to visit our favorite zoo friend the Komodo Dragon. 

The Desert Park

After spending the last six months in the pool I am pretty sure we are going to spend the next six months outside.  The boys are loving all of the parks close by our house.  The dessert park is one of our favorite parks.

They love throwing rocks.

 And going fishing.

Here are the flowers they picked for me because "You're the best mom in the universe".  Love my outside adventures with these two.

Sidewalk Paint

We decided to try out some sidewalk paint.

 They loved painting the ground.

 Hunter really liked his rainbow name.

 It quickly turned into painting all kinds of things including ourselves.

 They also wanted to create a masterpiece on the wall.

 Then they needed to take off their shirts so they had some more canvas to work with.

Science Museum Saturdays

We headed out to the science museum for some family fun.

Splash Pad

We headed over to the splash pad after school to cool off.

 The boys had a great time.  They loved splashing around.

 I absolutely love watching these two best friend brothers play together.  

They make life lovely.

Kiddie Pool Fun

With the cooler weather the boys have been having a lot of fun playing outside in the kiddie pool.  I keep trying to come up with fun and different ways to play.

 The first time we started with colored ice, water beads and shaving cream.

 The boys were a little tentative at first.

Then they started getting messy.

 The next time we did super bubbles.

 The boys had a great time playing with the bubbles in all kinds of different containers.

 Then we added the water.

 I love looking at the expressions in these pictures.

 These two are so cute and funny.
 We created sprinklers by poking holes in bottles.

 They liked them better when I turned them into showers for the boys.

 Then we started drawing a chalk city.

 The boys wanted to clean up the chalk and covered the patio with water.  Then proceeded to slide back and forth on their bellies.  They were so funny.  It was hilarious to watch.  These two are so much fun.
