Elephant Toothpaste Experiment

This beautiful blue eyed boy loves science. 

He is always begging for science experiments. 

Every time we do an experiment he tells me it is the best day ever.

I love making this guy happy so I'm always looking for fun ideas.

We decided to try elephant toothpaste. 

 Adding all of the elements.

The Natural History Museum

The boys have always loved dinosaurs and so we decided to check out the museum of natural history again.  The boys had a great time and I think we will be going back again and again.  They loved seeing all of the dinosaurs and going to their hands on activity room.  Cameron and Hunter loved the "teacher" there and wanted to work with and show their teacher everything.  It is so much fun to watch them learn and play.  They are so curious checking out everything around and getting so excited by what they find.

 We of course had to end the day with a little dancing raisin science project.  One of Hunter's favorites.

The Children's Museum

We haven't been to the children's museum in awhile so we thought it would be fun to have a little adventure this week.

The boys love the giant climber.

 They want to explore every inch but wanted so much to go to the flying bathtub. 

They have been talking about the flying bathtub ever since they found out that we were going to the museum.

 So happy to be in the bathtub.

 Grandma was such a good sport climbing around everywhere with the boys.

 Making music together.

 Fun pretend play in the kitchen.  We had so much fun playing around at each of the exhibits. 

We had a great time exploring each station and taking time to play.

 Reading with grandma.  Each section had a few books that applied to the exhibit and the boys wanted to stop and read every book.  
We had a great picnic outside the museum.  It was an absolutely fantastic day.  I love days like this.

Cousin Fun

The boys were really lucky to have some fun time with their cousins this week.

First Bremen came to play with the boys on Monday.  They were hugging him as often as they could catch him.

 Then, Hunter and Bremen had a spinning competition.  Hunter could spin forever without getting dizzy at all. 
 We came home and had some fun with frozen balloons.

 The kids loved shaking salt and color all over the frozen rocks.

 Then they started coming up with other projects and ideas.  They followed Bremen around the whole time he was here.

The next day Cameron and I went to swim with Brody.
We are lucky to have all of this fun family close by to play with.

Science Center

We headed to the Science Center this weekend to have some fun with Grammie and Papa. 

I have to thank Grammie for being the official photographer, I feel like I never get to take pictures because I am too busy playing and chasing the boys.

We started by building some large tracks.  The boys loved taking time to put these together.

 Then we decided to take a little rest on a bed of nails.  Cameron was scared to lay down by himself so I let him cuddle up with me.

 Next we had fun building some marble tracks.
