Daddy's Birthday

This weekend Patrick celebrated his birthday.  Which really means that the whole month of March we get to celebrate Patrick's birthday.  We love to celebrate with an excessive amount of yummy food and a lot of fun.

The boys made this sign for Daddy's birthday and were so excited to give their dad special presents that they had picked out themselves.  Hunter got Patrick a Star Wars Darth Vader and Son book for them to read together and Cameron got Patrick a basketball.  They could barely contain their excitement for Patrick's birthday.

Patrick decided that he wanted to take the boys to the Lego movie on Saturday to start the festivities.

They loved the movie and loved being with dad.

The boys have been begging to go swimming for months now.  Cameron loves wearing his swimsuit and Patrick has been wanting to take the boys to swim at Grandma and Grandpa's house so we went over on Saturday night to let them put their feet in.  The water was pretty cold and we didn't expect them to get very wet but within minutes they were both in the pool and splashing around.

 

 They were both doing cannonballs and loved swimming in the pool.  They now want to know when we can go again.

We spent Sunday relaxing, playing, and having fun to celebrate Patrick's birthday.  It was an amazing weekend.  I love Patrick so much and love celebrating with him.  I know that very few people are as awesome as Patrick is, very few marriages are as happy and connected as ours, and very few families are as loving and fun as ours.  I am so grateful to be married to my best friend, he is my support and the love of my life.
