Cousin Fun

We decided to take a day trip down to see our cousins today. 

The boys loved playing with all of their cousins and are already asking when we can go back.

They had so much fun jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, star wars, and feeding the chickens.  They had such a wonderful day.

Playing in the Water

We had so much fun today pulling out all of the water toys. 

Hunter and Cameron both loved the water rocket the best.

They had so much fun giggling and splashing around.

 

The boys are really looking forward to summer filled with water fun. 
Then we went inside to have some fun coloring and drawing.

 

I love watching them draw and hearing their stories about their drawings.  These two little guys are so creative and exciting.

Lady Bug Hunting

The weather was still amazing and I couldn't stand the thought of not being outside today, so we headed over to the desert park to explore.  The boys were having fun collecting sticks and meteorites (rocks), when we found this tree covered in lady bugs.  The boys loved catching the lady bugs and watching them crawl all around.  They were really gentle with them and we were able to take one home as a pet.

Then we decided to throw a few rocks in the lake.

I never realized that with two little boys I would spend so much time throwing rocks. 

It was a great morning with my two cuties.

Sunday Walk

The weather was beautiful this weekend so we headed over to the temple grounds for an afternoon walk.

Cameron wanted to smell every flower.  He would put his whole face in the flowers and afterwards would say they smell like roses.  It was so cute.

Train Park

My mom and I decided it would be fun to take the boys out to the train park.

They loved watching all of the model trains and helping them run.
They also loved taking a ride on the train.

They were a little nervous at first to go through the tunnel but loved going over the bridge. 

Then we went on a carousel ride.  Cameron was a little nervous and had to hug grandma the whole time. Luckily I don't think grandma minded all of the hugging.

They have some cute play grounds by the train park so we let the boys play on all of the toys.

One of the parks is a little western town and the boys loved exploring.

On the Farm

Today we decided to go explore a little farm not to far from our house.

 The boys had a lot of fun looking around.

 Riding on the tractors.  They both went around from tractor to tool telling us what each piece of equipment was for.  I loved their cute ideas.
 We also did a little cotton picking.

 Cameron held on to his cotton all day.

I love exploring with these two cuties.

Parks, Pets, and Playdough

Right now we do not have anything on our schedule.  I realized that for probably the last time in our lives we have no where that we have to be.  I am loving the simplicity of my life and am treasuring these last few months before Hunter starts Kindergarten.  I have been trying to let the boys be little boys and let them direct our days a bit more.  We talk about what we want to do each morning and have fun together.  I love listening to their ideas and watching their imaginations grow.

The boys love playing playdough.  It is one of their favorite activities. 

 

I am always so surprised at how long they can play with playdough.

I absolutely love my days without schedules and deadlines.  I love being with my little ones all of the time.  I know I am going to miss these days so much.
