Halloween

Hunter went to preschool in the morning dressed like Spiderman and wanted to stay dressed up all day.  He loved being Spiderman, so I hung out with Spiderman all day.

 He kept saying to the rescue.

 When we went trick or treating and anyone would ask who he was he would say "I'm Cameron".  It was adorable.

The Last of the Halloween Projects

Hunter and I spent a few naptimes this week finishing up the Halloween projects before Halloween. 

Hunter truly loved making our house the spookiest house.

We made balloon monsters.  Hunter loved drawing on the monster's brain.

 We also made little glue mummies.

 And tape mummies.

 Hunter loved his little mummy guy.

 We also made spiderwebs with a bouncy ball.  Hunter loved rolling it around.

Hunter liked making a hand print pumpkin and making the face.

 We made thumbprint monsters.

 Hunter had an amazing time taking each thumbprint and creating a monster.  He loved picking out how exactly to make the monster and telling me a little story about each monster.

 He loved his monster's and I think they made such cute bookmarks.

Here are the finished monsters, there are a couple of lobsters, fish, mike from Monsters Inc.  I loved making these fun projects with my fun little guy.

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins for Family Home Evening this week.

The boys loved carving the pumpkins and had a great time choosing what they wanted carved and getting all dirty in the pumpkin goo.

 Cameron wasn't scared at all to jump in and clean out the pumpkin.

 Hunter was a little hesitant at first but then jumped in and was ready to go.

Hall of Flame

We went to explore the hall of flame museum with the family this Saturday and had a blast.

  The boys loved ringing the bell and climbing all over the equipment.

 

 They love pretending to be firefighters.

The boys wanted me to pose in front of the princess horse.

  The kids loved climbing in the helicopter and spray the hose.

Hunter even got to put out a real fire with an extinguisher and they were able to take a ride on a real fire engine.  The boys were in fire fighter heaven.  It was a truly fun day.
