Playing Inside and Outside

The way my schedule with the boys is set up right now is really fun, we have a lot of time together and because of preschool and nap time I get some one on one time with each of the boys.  I love thinking about something I can do with each of the boys when it is just me and them.  I absolutely love seeing my boys in all different settings and it is so fun to see them just on their own. 

 

Cameron's personality is so active and fun and absolutely cuddly.  Cameron is adventurous and loves to try anything and everything.  He loves going to the park and meeting new friends.  We were at a park the other day and Cameron sat right down next to two little girls and said hey friends I'm so excited you're here. 

  Cameron is so loud and rambunctious and yet so gentle and tender, hugging and checking to make sure every one is okay.

Hunter is so curious and interested in everything.  He loves learning about anything he can and has so many questions about how everything works.  Hunter wants to learn about everything and loves learning more and more.  Hunter is so funny he loves to be silly and crazy.  He loves telling jokes and making us laugh.  Hunter is such a good friend and is always thinking about others.  He loves making things for other people and always wants to take treats to his friends. 

 I love the way Hunter looks at the world noticing everything all around and pretending at every moment. 

I love playing with these two little guys so much and seeing their personalities grow and blossom.

Papago Park

Our zoo trip this week got cut a little bit short when Cameron had a little accident.  Luckily I had some extra shorts in the car so I decided that we should explore Papago Park next to the zoo a little bit more.  The boys love hiking hole in the rock so we hiked it again and then explored all over the park for a few hours. 

These two love to pretend that the rocks are their palace and they are knights protecting the queen.  I love their imagination.

Next we went to the pavilion that we always played at when I was a kid.

We had stick races, danced on the stage and hiked the pyramid.

Then we found a cool play area for the boys to explore.

San Tan Hiking

The San Tan Mountains are close by our home and the boys always point to the mountain and ask if they can hike it.  We decided to check out the San Tan park close by our home.

 The boys are getting to be good little hikers and will keep up with mom and dad pretty well.
 The boys favorite part of the hike is always off roading and climbing up all different rock formations.

 Hunter was very excited to find an H in the fence around the path.

 It was a great day hiking and exploring.

Gilbert Temple Open House

We were able to go through the Gilbert Temple with the boys. 

They were so cute.  Hunter kept saying this was his goodest day ever.

 As we walked into the Celestial room, Hunter said this feels like heaven.

We were able to be there with my grandpa and it was beautiful to think about the blessings the temple has brought to our family as we were sealed to the boys following their adoptions and thinking about being sealed to all of our family.  I love my forever family.

Playing with Dad

Patrick got home from work early and Hunter was so happy to have more time with daddy.

 I love watching Patrick read to the boys.  Their facial expressions are priceless and the sweet interactions are absolutely fantastic.  While we were reading Patrick said "I'm so glad I left work early".  He is the best husband and father.  I love this guy so much.

 They then moved on to creating crazy car tracks together.

 When Cameron woke up from his nap he was so happy to have daddy home.  He is such a daddy's boy right now and begs for him all the time especially when he wakes up so he was so happy when daddy was really there.  I love watching all of these three together, they have truly made my life more than I could have ever imagined.  I love the fantastic simplicity of my life.

Fun Night at Home

We had a fun little night at home.

 The boys started the night camping indoors.  They loved cuddling up by each other.
Then we decided to explore the playdough.

These two love playdough.  They can spend forever playing.  They love to pretend together and create playdough food, roads, sport games and so much more.

 These two are so much fun to play with every day.

Zoo Day

We made it out to the zoo today.  The weather was gorgeous and it was so fun to see a few of the

 animals that are usually in hiding.

The boys love all of the fun snacks at the zoo.  Cameron and Hunter absolutely love the lizards and tortoises.  Cameron always tells the zookeeper at the tortoise exhibit that he wants a baby turtle.  He can sit and watch the tortoises eat forever.  Hunter loves to talk about all of the animals and asks question after question.  The zoo is one of my favorite places to enjoy and explore with my kiddos.

Lemon Volcanoes

Hunter is always up for a new science experiment.  I am pretty sure that if I just read books and did science experiments all day this little boy would be so happy.

 So excited to do a new project.  We decided to use some of the lemons from our over abundant lemon tree.

 Juicing the lemon and creating the acid.
