Since it was the last day of fall break, we decided to make pumpkin pancakes. Then I let the boys make jack-o-lantern faces out of chocolate chips for breakfast. They love helping in the kitchen and are pretty good at following directions.
After breakfast, we made ghosts out of baking soda and shaving cream.
Mixing up the ingredients.
We formed the mixture into ghost blobs and then the boys each got a bottle of vinegar so they could be ghostbusters.
The boys loved watching them foam and bubble. So happy to destroy the ghosts.
Then we decided to paint and make ghosts and monsters.
When you are messy, you should just get really messy.
At the end of the day we decided to go to the waterpark (the city pool) for some fun. The pool by us had everything the waterpark in Utah had that the boys loved: slides, play structure, lazy river, and a whirlpool. We have been going nearly every week, but now that the weather is getting cooler I think we are almost done. It makes me laugh that the pool stays open until November, but the boys love swimming and have loved the pool.
