California Trip - Day 1

Patrick had a work trip over my birthday in San Luis Obispo and I loved the idea of tagging along for a fun family vacation. 

 I drove on Monday with the boys to San Luis Obispo, Patrick flew over because we weren't sure when I was going to come.  It ended up being a ten hour drive and the boys were so good.  The drive was really pretty once we got out of LA because you are right along the shore.  We met up with Patrick and drove down to the beach.   

 Hunter was so excited to get to the beach, he ran the whole way from the parking lot and Cameron sat down almost immediately and just began rolling around in the sand. 

It felt amazing to get to the beach and play in the sand and water. 

The boys were ecstatic to go to the beach.

 

The boys ended the night lying on the bed eating dinner. 

They thought it was amazing to play in the hotel room. 

 It was a great beginning to a fun trip.
